The elementary after-school club enjoyed using clay to make some masterpieces! Thanks to our generous PTO for supporting our club, the club was able to purchase enough clay for everyone to create!








Ms. Bergman's 3rd grade class had an awesome hands-on experience during ELP with Mrs. Ruther. They had to work in groups and then test their final product.

Students are using MIG welding to tack together springs, bolts, washers, screws, etc.
Welding students are currently learning how to tack weld, adjust their machine settings, sandblast, and paint the finished product.

Gabe Stevens, owner of Masterpiece Customs, visited WBHS Welding classes today. Gabe is a 1995 BHS graduate.
He explained his business concept and his experience as an entrepreneur. Gabe stressed the importance of hard work, value of technical skills, along with his willingness to listen and learn. Mr. Stevens spoke about his path into the skilled trades. He is locally known for his fabrication of the Monopoly Dice and Lizzie Magie on the square in Macomb Illinois.

The Following WBHS Students Competed in Welding, Carpentry, CADD, and Auto Technology.
WBHS Students represented WB very well and showed off their industry relevant skills, competing against other high school from all over SE IA. Please congratulate them if you see them. Great Job- Falcons.
