Fabulous performance by the WBISD Choirs tonight!

Our 7-12 grade fall concert is tomorrow at 7PM. Let's fill the auditorium and support our FABulous kids who have worked so hard to prepare this show for you!

The 7th and 8th grade band has been learning how to read rhythms using a traditional counting system. Earlier this month, they were divided into their individual sections and worked as a group to write down the counts for a set number of measures within a span of 7 minutes. Each section would then take a turn counting and clapping their rhythms out loud for the rest of the ensemble. This performance aspect of the group work kept all students accountable for their own learning, and it was great to see collaboration happening between different grade levels!
